![]() ![]() The Beverages division is synonymous with inveterate brewery groups like Paulaner, Kulmbacher, Karlsberg, Fürstenberg and Hoepfner. Its presence in the market is marked by a wide diversity of brands and products: a number of different beers and beer specialties are brewed according to traditional methods. Beer mixes, non-alcoholic beverages and fruit juices neatly round off the division's beverage portfolio. Top-quality products, strong, well-known brands and balanced diversification in line with different markets and target groups lay the foundation for the growth of Brau Holding International, the management company for the division. A partnership with the Dutch company Heineken N.V., in which we retain executive responsibility, places us firmly on the path to achieving a leading position in the German beer market and a strong position internationally.
![]() Regional strength as a recipe for success
The acquisition of strong, key regional breweries reflects the consistent regional strategy implemented by Brau Holding International. As a product rich in tradition, beer needs a "home" and, in keeping with this philosophy, the newly acquired breweries will continue to be managed as independent companies. Breweries such as the Fürstlich Fürstenbergische Brauerei in Donaueschingen, the Hoepfner brewery in Karlsruhe, the Würzburger Hofbräu brewery and the Weißbierbrauerei Hopf in Miesbach are among the most successful breweries in their respective regions and offer substantial potential for development and old-established beer brands. This network of major regional beer brands - rich in tradition -not only translates into a dominant position in the German beer market but also into considerable potential synergies with regard to sales and export. Tradition in its purest form The number of different beers we have to offer is large. In addition to our range of classic pale beers, beer lovers will also find a wide variety of specialty beers: Paulaner Weißbier is the most popular and widely consumed wheat beer in Germany. Kulmbacher Premium Pils is synonymous with first-class quality from Germany's secret beer capital. The diet beer from Sternquell and Mönchshof Landbier neatly round off the assortment. Hacker-Pschorr's Oktoberfest Märzen and its unfiltered "Kellerbier" Anno 1417 offer beer drinkers a big beautiful hop aroma. All the beers are still brewed according to Bavaria's beer purity law; which means that only water, malt, hops and yeast are carefully processed to create our quality beers. This wide range of different beers is complemented by two long-standing pilsener specialties: Fürstenberg Premium Pilsener brewed by the Fürstlich Fürstenbergische Brauerei and the prize-winning pilsener brewed by the Hoepfner brewery in Karlsruhe. Both are cult beers in their home regions. |
